    CILEx Regulation regulates members of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives (CILEx).  It oversees the education, qualification and practice standards of Chartered Legal Executive lawyers and other CILEx members and ensures they maintain proper standards of professional and personal conduct.

  • Office of the Public Guardian

    The Office of the Public Guardian is an agency with responsibilities that extend across England and Wales (separate arrangements exist for Scotland and for Northern Ireland). It supports the Public Guardian in the registration of Enduring Powers of Attorney (EPA) and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPA), and the supervision of deputies appointed by the Court of Protection.

  • Probate Registries

    The Probate Service forms part of the Family Division of the High Court. It deals with ‘non-contentious’ probate business (where there is no dispute about the validity of a will or entitlement to take a grant), and issues grants of representation.

  • H M Revenue and Customs

    HM Revenue & Customs exists to ensure the correct tax is paid at the right time, whether this relates to payment of taxes received by the department or entitlement to benefits paid. They collect and administer taxes, pay and administer child benefit, child trust funds and tax credits, and also enforce border and frontier protection, environmental taxes, the national minimum and recovery of student loans.
